Tom Kane, the prolific voice actor with credits across Star Wars, the Lord of the Rings, Batman, and plenty else besides, has died aged 64, his talent agency reports.
You have almost certainly encountered Tom Kane's work before, if not in the 100+ videogames he appeared in, then in any number of movies or TV shows.
I'm fairly certain my first contact with Kane's work was as the voice of Jedi master Vandar Tokare in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (a role he reprised in KOTOR 2), but you may well know him from Shadows of the Empire, Grim Fandango, the Rocksteady Batman games, or—I suspect this will be the case for many of you—as the voice of Professor Utonium from The Powerpuff Girls.
