If you like to follow adaptations and haven’t yet heard of the latest thing that has the internet’s collective tongue wagging, you should take a look at the new trailer for Wicker, starring Olivia Coleman and Alexander Skarsgård as a fish monger and the wicker man the aforementioned fish monger had made to be her husband, respectively. It was adapted from Ursula Wills’ short story, The Wicker Husband. I haven’t read the short story yet, but the movie looks like is has what the BookTok girlies call spice.
