Alya makes a big decision on Coronation Street as crafty Idris looms

When Idris Nazir (Junade Khan) first rocked up on Coronation Street,Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) welcomed her cousin with open arms. Oh, how things have changed.

The biggest change being, he’s not actually her cousin. Awks.

Every time a new character rocks up in a flashy car to play the hero and dispatch ne’er’do’wells harrassing our beloved regulars, audiences are always waiting for the other shoe to drop. That’s what happened with Idris, when he threw some troublesome customers out of Speed Daal, thus establishing his ‘nice guy’ credentials – to the residents of Coronation Street, at least.
