Following a combative vote last week to allow controversial U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk another four-year term, France used an official French mission account to attack the United States.

On Saturday, France ONU Genève wrote on X, “The US used to be a beacon of human rights. Not anymore.”

“Today, it stands alongside North Korea, Nicaragua, Mali & Russia, isolated. And the world no longer listens to it,” and ended with the hashtag #AmericaAlone.
