Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitch Winehouse, has been ordered to pay almost £1 million to the singer’s friends after a failed High Court claim about an auction of Amy’s belongings.
He was ordered to make interim payments of £569,330 to the Back To Black star’s former stylist Naomi Parry and £394,521 to her friend Catriona Gourlay within the next two weeks.
Mitch must also cover the legal fees of both defendants on an indemnity basis.
Parry’s legal costs are estimated at £715,361; meanwhile, Gourlay’s were £487,132.
The BBC reports Winehouse spent roughly £950,000 on the case for his own costs too.
