Anthropic valued at close to a trillion dollars in new funding round

Artificial intelligence company Anthropic announced on Thursday that it had raised $65 billion in a new funding round, valuing the Claude maker (founded by former OpenAI employees and led by Dario Amodei) at $965 billion and placing it ahead of rival OpenAI.
