Fruity fragrances always spike in popularity when the sun comes out, but one note that rapidly rising in popularity is banana. Yes, really. 

We’ve seen sticky, dessert-inspired gourmand scents evolve from overpowering vanilla to sophisticated blends with coconut, caramel and chocolate, but banana brings something different. 

It’s not entirely new to the fragrance world; you can often find banana notes paired with tropical, coconut and beachy scents, but played the role of a supporting character, now it’s front and centre as the main feature.
