Government ministers could enact further bans on water use as the UK continues to see no rain and drought conditions worsen daily.

Just days ago, the government issued a temporary ban on the sale of disposable barbeques, as they posed a ‘significant risk to the public’.

The single-use grills ‘have been the cause of a number of serious wildfires across the country over the summer months’, advice published online by the government said.
