Christian Norgaard has left Arsenal for Everton and says Gunners boss Mikel Arteta encouraged the move to Goodison Park.
The 32-year-old spent just one season at Arsenal, having signed from Brentford in an initial £10million deal last summer.
The Dane was not used regularly, but made 20 appearances across all competitions and seven in the Premier League as Arsenal won the title.
Norgaard signed a two-year deal when he arrived in north London, but has already departed, with Everton spending £7m on his signature.
