Much like the immortal beings they contain, vampire stories show no signs of going away, and love for novels about the undead are as popular now as ever, with hundreds being released each year. (Can you imagine how many books about vampires you could read if you were going to live forever?)
But not every vampire story has to be about a sun-hating bloodsucker with a garlic allergy who is hunted with a cross, a stake, and holy water—although these can be fun too.
