Crew member missing after US Navy helicopter crashes into Arabian Sea

An urgent search has been launched for a missing aircrewman after a US Navy Sea Hawk helicopter crashed.

One US Navy soldier remains missing after the incident in the Arabian Sea in the early hours of the morning.

The MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter is assigned to the USS George HW Bush aircraft carrier, one of the biggest American warships that has been sailing in the region.

It was carrying four crew members when it carried out an emergency landing into the water, the US Navy’s 5th Fleet command centre said on
