Doctor stabbed ‘multiple times’ while treating patient at Hillingdon hospital

A man has been arrested after a doctor was attacked while at work at Hillingdon Hospital yesterday.

The medic, a man in his 50s, was stabbed inside the hospital in west London yesterday.

He is believed to have been targeted while treating the patient at about 2.40am.

Metro understands he was knifed several times during the incident.

Police officers happened to be at the hospital on another job at the time of the stabbing.

The victim was transferred to another hospital in west London for treatment.
