DOJ Reindicts Accused Jan 6 Pipe Bomber Brian Cole, Adds Four New Felony Counts

The Justice Department on Thursday hit the alleged January 6 pipe bomber Brian Cole with a superseding indictment and added four new felony counts.

Brian Cole has now been charged with a total of 8 felony counts.

The earlier, four-count indictment lumped together the ‘explosive devices’ found outside the RNC and DNC headquarters.

The Justice Department doubled the following counts and separated the devices found:

Count One: Interstate Transportation of Explosives

Count Two: Malicious Attempt to Use Explosives

Count Three: Attempt to Use Weapons of Mass Destruction
