Donald Trump has unveiled the design for his 250ft ‘triumphal arch’ which could see taxpayer money used for its construction.

The US president revealed the plan for the ‘greatest and most beautiful’ arch, a gold-and-white-covered structure he wants to build in the capital to mark the United States’ 250th birthday.
