EasyJet to launch its first ever international route from a tiny UK airport

EasyJet has just announced the launch of 13 new winter routes from eight regional airports – including Newquay airport, one of the smallest commercial airports in the UK.

Although it occupies a massive 850-acre site, Newquay Airport has just one passenger terminal and limited facilities.

Intimate and easy to navigate, check in typically takes just a few minutes. Unsurprisingly, the departure lounge is pretty basic, consisting of just one single open space, with a handful of gates and one miniature cafe.
