An exclusive private members’ club in Mayfair has been closed following a ‘serious crime’ incident last week.

Officers reported serious ‘disorder’ at Maison Estelle on September 19 and have requested an urgent review of the venue’s licence.

In its application, the Metropolitan Police said there was evidence the club had failed to comply with multiple licensing conditions.
