Vodafone has rejected Zia Yusuf’s call for them to stop donating mobile phone SIM cards which are then given to asylum seekers.

Reform UK’s home affairs spokesman has written to the company’s board of directors warning them that they face jail if his party wins the next election.

It emerged recently that Vodafone has given more than 2,000 SIM cards to the Care4Calais charity, which gives them to migrants arriving in the UK.

Yusuf said: “Vodafone’s CEO is paid £10 million a year while her company hands thousands of SIM cards to illegal migrants in Calais, helping them break into Britain and putting British women and girls at risk.
