Farage quit parliament in a huff – why should Burnham invite him to talks?

Leader of Reform UK Nigel Farage is having a hissy fit because, to coin a political phrase, he isn’t ‘in the room where it happens.’

But Farage is locked out of cross-party discussions because he himself stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him. 

He’s now banging on that same door begging to be let in. 

Sounds absurd, and yet simultaneously not shocking.
