Furious Marcelo Bielsa yells at reporter after ‘disgraceful’ Uruguay World Cup exit

Marcelo Bielsa took his anger out on a TV reporter after his Uruguay side were knocked out of the World Cup in the group stages.

Following disappointing draws with Saudi Arabia and Cape Verde, Uruguay needed to beat Spain in their final group game to qualify for the knockout stages.

But a 1-0 defeat, courtesy of a costly mistake from goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, saw their tournament come to an end in acrimonious fashion.

Uruguay captain Federico Valverde was taken off in the second half, with the Real Madrid star furious and refusing to acknowledge Bielsa as he made his way to the bench.
