It's about to take quite a turn weather-wise.If you have been hoping that rain will finally hit your area, you may be in luck as the Met Office has forecasted showers and storms across the UK.
Rain isn’t usually a welcome weather change here in the UK but after England and Wales have had their driest Julys on record, some moisture will likely be welcomed in many regions.
While South-East England will remain dry (sorry), these showers are set to cover Northern Ireland, most of Scotland and North-West England. Additionally, yellow thunder warnings are in place today for Northern Ireland and North-East Scotland.
A sigh of relief no doubt for the gardeners among us.
