I had no trouble finding vendors to offload Coen's endless supply of low-value pilfered junk in Blood of Dawnwalker, but it took a few days to figure out how to sell silver. It makes sense that silver is considered contraband under vampire rule, so you have to find the right vendor to foist it on and complete a quick quest before adventuring south.
