Joanne's body was found by police officers after a wildfire in Feltham, west London, on August 12 seven years after she disappeared. A major police investigation was launched in December 2019 when the mum-of-three, then aged 44, was reported missing. Rachel Roussel, 47, one of Jo?s best friends of 16 years, has now launched a fundraiser to ease the burden on Jo?s family as she is finally laid to rest. Rachel met Jo as part of a group of mums in Southampton back in 2003 ? and the friends would regularly do their shopping together, go over to each other?s houses and give each other advice.
