A convicted killer has admitted stabbing his friend to death on New Year???s Eve before handing himself in to police and telling officers: ???It???s happened again.??? Daniel Levy, 48, pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey on Wednesday to murdering Indian national Abdul Kaleem Shaik, 41, at his flat in Vauxhall, south London. Levy, who has schizophrenia, was previously convicted of killing his grandmother by stabbing her and setting her on fire in July 2000. He had admitted killing Mr Shaik but previously denied murder on the grounds of his mental health at the time. Levy changed his plea shortly before his trial was due to begin before a jury at the Old Bailey. At an earlier hearing, prosecutors said Levy stabbed Mr Shaik in the neck with a large knife at his flat sometime on New Year???s Eve or in the early hours of New Year???s Day.
