Legendary punk guitarist East Bay Ray has revealed a heartbreaking diagnosis, but has said he has no intention of putting down his guitar just yet.

The 67-year-old musician, who co-founded the influential American punk band Dead Kennedys nearly five decades ago, shared that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease through the group’s management on Tuesday.

Despite the diagnosis, Ray, whose real name is Raymond John Pepperell, is determined to continue performing with the band for as long as his health permits....
