Major UK restaurant chain confirms closure date for all 106 restaurants

Beefeater and Brewers Fayre restaurants across the UK are set to close their doors at 200 locations – and now the closing date for the former has been confirmed.

All 106 Beefeater restaurants will shut for good on Thursday, September 10.

Owned by Whitbread, which also owns Premier Inn, the company first announced that both restaurant brands would close back in April.

Some 30,000 employees currently work at the locations – typically found inside hotels – across the UK and Ireland.

Beefeater broke the bad news to members of the restaurant’s rewards scheme this week.
