A centenarian was critically injured after an alleged pub assault in South Wales.
The unnamed elderly man, aged 102, was left with serious injuries following a suspected altercation on Saturday, August 1, in Cwmbran.
The emergency services were alerted after reports of an assault at The Crow’s Nest pub.
He was rushed to the hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical condition.
Now a 56-year-old man, from Llanelli, has been arrested on suspicion of section 20 assault, previously known as inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH). He was released under investigation.
