A man has died in Cornwall after trying to save two family members who got into difficulty in the water. Police were called by the ambulance service to a beach near Padstow around 3.50pm on bank holiday Monday (May 25). A man was "suffering cardiac arrest in the sea" at Tregirls Beach after he entered the water to try and save two family members, police said.
