One of the world's biggest payments networks just walked through the door that took crypto-native firms a decade to even get a knock on.

Mastercard Transaction Services (U.S.) LLC has received a BitLicense from the New York State Department of Financial Services, clearing it to operate digital asset, stablecoin, and tokenized deposit activity inside the state.
