Alfie O?Keefe. A heartbroken mother has shared her anguish after a roadside memorial for her son has been repeatedly destroyed. Alfie O?Keefe, 16, was killed in a hit-and-run crash back in November 2016 when a learner driver smashed into his moped. Ali Bahramzadeh failed to give way to the teenager as he entered a mini roundabout on Buxted Road, in North Finchley, London, The careless driver, who had taken his mum?s car without permission, and was both unlicensed and uninsured, then failed to stop. He was jailed in 2018 for one year and banned from driving for two-and-a-half years following his release. Ever since her son?s death, mum Joanne O?Keefe, 49, has memorialised him on the road where he was knocked 36-feet off his moped. Photo released 29/09/2026
