New PS5 cashback scheme will make digital games cheaper as first trials begin

A brand new rewards scheme has been discovered on the PlayStation Store, which might soften the digital-only blow. 

Sony has received plenty of justifiable criticism over its decision to axe physical PlayStation discs after 2027, but a new cashback scheme is the first sign that they feel they’ve got to do anything to win back customers.
