The pressure on under-fire Manchester United boss Michael Carrick is only set to intensity after his side were thrashed 4-1 by Como in the Champions League.

Carrick said he saw a number of positives in United’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United at the weekend, but the Red Devils failed to build on that somewhat encouraging display out in Italy on Wednesday night.
