Official GTA 5 roleplay mod arrives in beta ahead of GTA 6 launch

With a roleplay mod, GTA Online is turned into more of a life sim (NoPixel)

It’s looking likelier that GTA 6 will receive official roleplay mod support as Rockstar plans to launch an updated roleplay server for GTA 5 next month.

For years, there has been a dedicated roleplaying community for GTA 5, more specifically its multiplayer mode GTA Online, where players make use of a mod called FiveM to partake in custom experiences not typically possible in the regular game, such as everyone roleplaying as cops and robbers.
