Olivia Pratt-Korbel’s mum ‘still blames herself’ four years after her daughter was shot dead

For Cheryl Korbel, every day is a reminder her daughter was shot and killed.

‘I do not need an anniversary to mark the day for me,’ she told Metro. ‘Her absence is felt in everything.’

It’s four years to the day since Olivia, aged nine, was shot and killed in her home in Knotty Ash, Liverpool.

Gunman Thomas Cashman had been lying in wait to attack drug dealer Joseph Nee in Kingsheath Avenue.

He fired two shots outside, which prompted Cheryl to open her front door to see what the noise was.
