Paedo private school teacher will die in prison after attacking pupils in school dark room

An ex-private school teacher will spend the rest of his life in jail after he sexually assaulted 14 of his former pupils.

David James Clarke, 82, ran a photography club at Newlands School, Seaford in East Sussex. Using his position as head of the club he would take boys into the dark room and sexually abuse them.

He would isolate the boys where he began by hugging them and asking them to sit on his lap before progressing to touching their genitals under and over clothing, escalating to mutual masturbation and, on occasion, oral sex and buggery.
