Pokémon GO Launches Free Encounter with Maxed-Out Mewtwo and Special Background

Now available for all Trainers in Pokémon GO, a new free Timed Research campaign leading to an encounter with a Mewtwo with maxed-out stats and a Special Background is now available for a limited time.

Timed to its 10th anniversary, Mewtwo caught from this Pokémon GO Timed Research will also have the third Mega Level unlocked for Mega Mewtwo Y.

Note that the tasks associated with the Mewtwo Timed Research must be completed and the respective rewards must be claimed by September 6 at 11:59pm local time. If not completed in time, said Timed Research will expire.
