A Reform UK councillor has stepped down after it emerged he was a gay porn star.

Stephen Mousdell was elected as a councillor for Haydock, a village about two miles west of St Helens, last week.

But an investigation by LBC found the councillor has starred in videos of sex acts published on the content-sharing website OnlyFans.

Mousdell announced this morning that he is stepping down, stressing that the media coverage has caused his partner, Kevin Lee, ‘pain’.
