Reanna Harrison-Berry, 20, was riding the Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach on Thursday with her boyfriend Aidan Coltherd, 20, when the couple heard a "crunch" sound as they went uphill. Seconds later, they say the cart started to roll backwards - with claims the rollercoaster had become 'derailed'. A spokesperson for Blackpool Pleasure Beach would not confirm that the ride, which is Grade II-listed, had come off its tracks. Photo released 24/07/2026
