Earlier this month, Sir Rod Stewart faced fan backlash for appearing at a World Cup game shortly after cancelling a gig due to health reasons.

He scrapped the show 40 minutes before it was due to start, but the next day was cheering on Scotland at a Men’s World Cup match, with his sons and wife.

While fans were fuming at the decision, the 81-year-old singer was forced to pause a concert last week to use an oxygen tank after nearly fainting onstage.
