‘Selfless’ teenage passenger killed after car smashes into tree

The family of a ?beautiful? woman who died after a collision in Lichfield have paid tribute to her. Officers were called at 1.35am on Saturday 22 August to Lichfield Road in Armitage following reports that a Ford had collided with a tree. A passenger in the Ford, 19-year-old Harriet Boyles from Stoke-on-Trent, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. Sadly, Harriet died on Wednesday 26 August. Paying tribute to her, Harriet?s family said: ?Harriet was a beautiful young woman whose kindness, warmth and caring nature touched everyone who knew her. At just 19 years of age, she had already made a lasting impression on the lives of so many people through her compassion, intelligence, and unwavering love for those closest to her.
