Coach Kara Lawson again refused to play the world’s greatest player and greatest college basketball scorer ever, Caitlin Clark.
Clark is the reason millions of fans flock to women’s basketball today. And Coach Lawson refused to start her for the entire tournament. Lawson also allowed Clark’s teammates to ignore her throughout the tournament. Lawsom may think fans didn’t notice. We did!
This was coaching malpractice.
This was also a very solid argument against women in leadership roles. You would NEVER see this type of pettiness in any major sports league. Only the WBNBA and now FIBA tournaments.
