A popular Spanish airport operating 30 flights from the UK each week is set to close for a month due to runway resurfacing work.
Santiago-Rosalía de Castro Airport serves 3.2 million passengers every year, making it the second busiest airport in Northern Spain.
The airport, located in Galicia, announced that it would be closing its doors from April 23 to May 27, stating on its website that: ‘During this period, the airport will be closed to all air traffic, and no takeoffs or landings will take place.’
