When the news of a TV reboot of The Inbetweeners first got released last year, fans were delirious with excitement.

Created by Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, the Channel 4 sitcom aired from 2008 to 2010 before spawning two blockbuster films in 2011 and 2014.

After signing a deal with production giant Banijay UK, a deal was struck to revive its iconic characters  Will (Simon Bird), Jay (James Buckley), Neil (Blake Harrison) and Simon (Joe Thomas).
