When Tom Roberts first started visiting care homes to provide residents with personal grooming, the reality of his good will gesture soon became clear.

After losing his own nan Lil to dementia when she was 98, he’d wanted to provide services to people in care homes to give them a boost alongside a personal groom – but it wasn’t as simple as he’d imagined.
