The Year Of The Pickle: You Can Now Drink Your Favourite Flavour In A Sparkling Drink

What was once something you interacted with when it was sandwiched between your patty and bun is now everywhere.

From big snack pickles, to picklebacks, the past decade has certainly been the time for pickles to shine.

And now, pickles are dominating the soft drink market, too.

Earlier this year, I had a limited-edition pickle matcha, which blended matcha with lemonade and pickle brine, at Bird & Blend. 

And now, pickle sodas seem to be popping up left, right and centre.

Almost certainly not for the pickle protester, these drinks taste (shockingly) as though they’ve been infused with citrusy brine.
