Diane Morgan and Sue Johnston in Ann DroidThe BBC has given an update on the future of Diane Morgan’s hit comedy Ann Droid.
On Thursday morning, it was confirmed at the Edinburgh TV Festival that Diane will be returning as the obsolete AI bot Linda in a second season, following the success of the first run.
She enthused: “The response to Ann Droid has been so incredible. We’re all totally blown away.”
Diane added: “I’m really looking forward to not blinking, needing physio and hearing Cotton Eyed Joe on repeat.”...
