 Staffordshire Police cordoned off a fishing lake in the Wyrley and Essington Branch Canal Local Nature Reserve after emergency services descended onto the site on Saturday 5 September morning. Paramedics raced to reports that a child had gone into cardiac arrest at the site. One witness said she directed paramedics towards the area around the fishing lake. Police and PCSO's lined the area around the pond. Drone images show at least four tents and camping chairs positioned next to eachother, close to fishing platforms.
