TikToker details jumping over fence to fight Birmingham fires as homes were destroyed

A Birmingham TikToker has recalled the moment he jumped over a garden fence while rushing to the aid of people whose houses were burning.

Flames ripped through six homes on Gorleston Road on Thursday, destroying everything inside. Fire crews noted a run of 10 properties had fences and gardens demolished, too.

Fire commander Peter Simmons later confirmed that the blaze broke out at Daisy Farm Park at the rear of the properties before spreading.
