Donald Trump says he is considering scrapping a planned series of concerts marking the US’s 250th anniversary after several artists got ‘the yips’ and dropped out.

The president added that he is thinking of replacing them with ‘the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime, and he does so without a guitar’ – himself.
