Trump plasters his face on commemorative US passports

Up to 30,000 Americans will soon show a passport with a photo of Donald Trump to customs officials when travelling abroad.

The US State Department has said it is preparing a limited release of commemorative passports celebrating America’s 250th birthday that feature a picture of the US President.

Between 25,000 and 30,000 of the new passports will be available to applicants at the Washington DC passport office shortly before July 4.

Trump will be the first living president to be featured in the travel document.
