TV soap star died of alcohol poisoning a day after celebrating 35th birthday

A soap star was killed by fatal levels of alcohol in her blood not a monkey a bite, her post-mortem has revealed.

Ece Irtem, 35,best known for playing Isil in the hit Turkish soap opera Cranberry Sherbet, was found dead by her mother the day after her birthday party on June 15.

Before her death, she had revealed that she was taking medication after being bitten by a monkey on holiday in Thailand.
